A53 Grade B seamless pipes are produced by forming steel billets through steel plates into pipes. The outer diameter of these seamless pipes is designed to be 1/2NB-60NB. It is available in 5, 10, 40, 80 and 160 gauges. ASTM A53b welded pipe is cheaper compared to seamless pipe. These pipes are designed by welding steel with the help of fillers. Their outer diameter is 1/2NB-24NB. Pipes are primarily used in low pressure piping applications or as structural steel. Thin wall A53 Grb pipes can be extended by at least 20% and are available in standard lengths from 3-12m and can be easily customized. Thick-walled SA 53 Gr B pipes have a thickness of 1.65mm-20mm and are produced using a hot rolling process. These pipes can be used to transport fluids and gases under high pressure and temperature without any malfunction.
Product Description
The main components of ASTM A53 Class B pipe are chromium, nickel, sulfur, copper, manganese and molybdenum. ASTM A53 Class B pipe is available in sizes ranging from ½ to 36 NB and is highly corrosion resistant. These pipes are available in different specifications with wall thickness ranging from 3mm-12mm. They have excellent flanging and bending properties. ASTM A53 gr b pipe is manufactured as per international and national standards. It has a tensile strength of at least 60,000 psi and a yield strength of at least 35,000 psi.
