API 5L X60 is a high-grade pipe commonly found in the API 5L specification for oil and gas transportation. Also called L415 pipe, so named because of its minimum yield strength of 415 MPa (60,200 psi). It covers seamless manufacturing types (hot and cold rolled) as well as ERW, LSAW, SSAW (HSAW) welding.
Products Description
Grade X60 pipe is made from a carbon-based steel alloy. The alloy used to make Carbon Steel Api 5l X60 Pipe Supplier consists of manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, titanium, vanadium and niobium. API 5L X60 PSL 1 is a standard specification for products that do not require rigorous testing. In contrast, PSL 2 X60 grade pipe has different chemical and mechanical properties. API level 5L x60 PSL 2 has more stringent testing and quality checks. These API 5L Gr X60 pipes, API 5l X60 Erw pipes require impact testing as well as non-destructive testing. API 5L Gr X 60 PSL 2 steel pipe has better properties compared to PSL 1 steel pipe X60 grade.
