For aerospace and industrial furnace manufacturers, sourcing high-temperature steel sheets is a high-risk investment. Two of the most troublesome industrial challenges are:
Laser/plasma cutting head collisions: Residual stresses in conventional hot-rolled steel sheets can cause bending or warping. On automated CNC vacuum tables, this can lead to costly laser cutting head collisions, tool damage, and workpiece scrap.
Thermal limit softening: Using GH3030 (equivalent to Nimonic 75) in environments exceeding 850°C causes rapid grain growth and sagging, resulting in premature failure of furnace components.
At Gnee Alloy, we eliminate these risks. Our precision leveling process ensures "absolute flatness" in the steel sheets, maximizing your production uptime and ensuring structural integrity.

Guide to Aerospace Grade GH3030 and GH3039 Hot-Rolled Steel Plates

Guide to Aerospace Grade GH3030 and GH3039 Hot-Rolled Steel Plates
GH3030 and GH3039 are high-quality solid solution strengthened nickel-chromium aerospace superalloys. These grades of hot-rolled sheets exhibit excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and superior formability. They are key materials for manufacturing aircraft gas turbine combustors, afterburners, and high-temperature structural components.
Can GH3030 be used in sulfur-containing environments?
GH3030 performs best in oxidizing atmospheres (air/steam). If your environment has a high sulfur content, please contact our engineers for customized advice or an upgrade to Alloy 601.

5. Advantages of Gnee Alloy VIM + ESR process
The quality of our Aerospace Grade plates is born in the furnace. We utilize a dual-refining strategy:

VIM + ESR process
VIM (Vacuum Induction Melting): Eliminates dissolved gases and ensuring a clean chemical base.
ESR (Electroslag Remelting): Acts as a liquid filter to remove inclusions, ensuring the plate surface is free from micro-pits after rolling.
Precision Leveling: We guarantee a flatness tolerance of ≤ 2mm/m, essential for seamless automated laser cutting.

FAQ
Q1: Is GH3030 interchangeable with Nimonic 75 for my project?
A: Yes. GH3030 is a material used in Chinese standards to represent the equivalent of Nimonic 75/Alloy 75, both of which share the same metallurgical system. It is globally recognized as an ideal material for aerospace liners and industrial heat shields.
Q2: Can I weld GH3039 as easily as GH3030?
A: Both offer excellent weldability. However, GH3030 is the "Weld King" of nickel alloys due to its high ductility. GH3039 requires slightly more control over heat input but maintains superior weld-zone stability at 900°C.
Q3: Why should I choose a hot-rolled plate over cold-rolled for 10mm thickness?
A: For thicknesses above 4mm, hot-rolled plates offer a more Cost-effective Solution while maintaining excellent Industrial Durability. We then rough-grind the surface to ensure it meets your aesthetic and technical needs.
Q4: Do you support small trial orders for furnace prototype parts?
A: Absolutely. As a Reliable Supplier, we support Innovation. We offer Flexible MOQs on our in-stock inventory of sheets and plates.
