ASTM A249 TP321 stainless steel welded pipe is suitable for boilers due to its high-temperature strength and resistance to intergranular corrosion (a benefit of titanium alloy stabilization). The material must meet specific chemical, mechanical, and testing requirements, including solution heat treatment and mechanical testing such as flattening, tensile testing, and hydrostatic/nondestructive testing.
