Inconel 713C (UNS N07713/DIN 2.4671) Alloy: Technical Data Sheet and Wholesale Sourcing Guide

Inconel 713C (UNS N07713 / DIN 2.4671) is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium-based cast superalloy with excellent structural stability and high creep rupture strength, especially in the temperature range of 700°C to 1000°C. Due to its excellent oxidation resistance and thermal fatigue resistance, Inconel 713C is widely used in critical thermal channel components of aerospace and industrial gas turbines.

What are the properties of Inconel 713C material?

Inconel 713C has extremely high corrosion resistance. Upon heating, a thick, stable oxide layer forms on the surface, providing protection. This material maintains its strength over a wide temperature range. This metal alloy is particularly suitable for applications with temperatures up to 900°C.

Green ingots/master alloys (for remelting)
Master alloy bars (for vacuum induction melting)

Procurement Recommendations

Specifications Confirmation: Ensure the supplier complies with AMS 5391 or UNS N07713 standards.

Heat Treatment Required: 713C typically requires heat treatment (e.g., homogenization/solution treatment) to optimize its high-temperature strength.

Vacuum Casting: For critical aerospace applications, inquire whether casting is performed under vacuum conditions, as vacuum casting provides higher tensile strength and better fatigue resistance.
