XAR 450 steel sheet: This grade is an improved version of XAR400 with improved wear resistance performance, the operating temperature remains below 400℃.

Wear plates for mining equipment, crushers and shovels contain about 1.2 percent carbon and 12 percent manganese. Its wear-resistant properties have a high ability to harden. Wear-resistant steel XAR 400 is characterized by increased wear resistance and good weldability. Thanks to its special chemical composition, XAR 400 is compatible with heat treatment by hardening or tempering. Due to its alloying and rigidity, this steel provides reliable welding. Steel has a chemical composition with a moderately low carbon equivalent content. The key quality of wear-resistant steels is their hardness. We offer wear plates according to their hardness measured by the Brinnell method. This further helps reduce support costs associated with equipment wear and tear. The steel is quenched to provide wear resistance for increased hardness and can also be hardened. In most cases it has excellent cold torsion properties and excellent weldability. Weldability generally does not decrease with increasing hardness. Its advantages include excellent wear resistance, high impact strength and a smooth surface.
