There are four ship plate quality levels: A, D, E, and F, which correspond to impact temperatures respectively.
A does not impact,
D impact temperature -20 degree impact,
E is steel plate -40 degree impact,
F is the -60 degree impact of the steel plate,
H indicates that the steel plate is a high-strength steel plate, and 32 indicates the compressive strength of the steel plate.
FH32 steel plate is a steel plate used for low-temperature impact of -60 degrees for hull structures. The steel plate grade can be broken down into, F impact temperature -60 degrees impact. FH32 steel plate is a fine-grained killed steel produced to the standards of the classification society.
