ASTM A312 TP321 pickled pipe is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel pipe with excellent resistance to high-temperature intergranular corrosion, as well as high creep strength and stress-rupture properties. The addition of titanium prevents the formation of chromium carbides, which is critical for high-temperature applications. "Seamless" indicates the absence of welds, providing excellent load-carrying capacity; "pickled" indicates the pipe surface has been treated with an acid solution to remove oxides, resulting in a cleaner, smoother, and more corrosion-resistant surface.

What are the specifications for SS 316 seamless pipe?

316 stainless steel pipe has a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 200 MPa. Its density is as high as 8,000 kg/m³. Standard wall thicknesses for these pipes range from 0.5 mm to 6.35 mm. SS 316 seamless pipe does not have fillet welds.
