In high-temperature oxidizing atmospheres, ordinary stainless steel eventually fails due to the peeling of its oxide layer. Our Nimonic 75 (UNS N06075) alloy sheet is specially designed to form a tough and self-healing oxide layer, providing superior protection at temperatures up to 800°C (1472°F). As a professional nickel alloy manufacturer, Gnee Steel offers high-purity Nimonic 75 (GH3030/EI435) material that maintains its structural integrity even during severe thermal cycling.

Nimonic 75 (GH3030) alloy plate has excellent oxidation resistance (up to 800°C)
Nimonic 75 sheet metal is a nickel-chromium alloy (80/20 Ni-Cr) designed for high-temperature environments. It exhibits excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1100°C (2010°F), far exceeding the previously mentioned 800°C. It is commonly used for sheet metal parts requiring oxidation resistance and moderate strength in high-temperature environments.
What is NIMONIC 75 material?
NIMONIC 75 alloy is an 80/20 nickel-chromium alloy with added titanium and carbon. This alloy was originally introduced in the 1940s for the manufacture of turbine blades. It is easy to machine and weld, and possesses good corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, and heat resistance.

3. Nimonic 75 alloy sheets Advantages
Extremely High Temperature Strength: Nimonic 75 alloy sheets exhibit remarkable creep-fracture strength. They maintain stable mechanical properties even at temperatures up to 870°C. This makes them ideal for gas turbine engineering, where components need to withstand high-temperature and high-stress environments.
Excellent Corrosion and Oxidation Resistance: Due to its high chromium content, this alloy sheet possesses excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. In high-temperature environments, it forms a dense and stable oxide film on the surface, effectively preventing further oxidation and corrosion, which is crucial for applications such as industrial heat treatment, furnace components, and heat treatment equipment.
Good Machinability and Weldability: Structures made from Nimonic 75 alloy sheets are easy to manufacture. They can be machined using common metalworking methods such as forging, rolling, and machining. Furthermore, welding can be performed using standard methods and compatible filler metals, provided that annealing is performed before welding. This characteristic enables its application in manufacturing complex-shaped components across various industries.
Stable Austenitic Structure: Nimonic 75 maintains a stable austenitic solid solution structure at all temperatures below the solidus line. Apart from recrystallization and grain growth, the structure is largely unaffected by heat treatment, ensuring stable performance throughout various manufacturing and service processes.

FAQ
Q1: Can Nimonic 75 handle sulfur-rich oxidizing atmospheres?
A: Nimonic 75 is optimized for clean oxidizing environments (like aero-engine air flow). In high-sulfur reducing atmospheres, we recommend consulting our engineers to discuss protective coatings or alternative grades like Inconel 601.
Q2: Does your factory supply MTC 3.1 with every plate?
A: Yes. Every shipment from our China superalloy factory is accompanied by a full EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate, including chemical analysis, room-temp/high-temp mechanical tests, and 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
Q3: Is GH3030 the same as Nimonic 75?
A: GH3030 is the Chinese equivalent, while EI435 (ЭИ435) is the Russian equivalent. Our material meets the requirements of all three standards, ensuring 100% compatibility for global MRO projects.
