What is the grade of 316L bar?
316L is a low-carbon version of 316 that resists sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Therefore, it is widely used for thick-gauge welded components (over 6 mm). 316H, with its higher carbon content, is suitable for high-temperature applications, as are stabilized 316Ti grades.
