Corten A steel grade is a representative steel grade of American Cu-P series steel, with a yield strength of 355MPa and a tensile strength of 470-630MPa. Corten-A was first used in buildings in 1958 because of its corrosion-resistant properties. Subsequently, Corten-A was widely used in bridges, trains, cars, trucks, and industrial facilities, especially in China and Japan. Corten B grade steel is a representative steel grade of the American Cu-P series steel, with yield strengths of 355MPa and 345MPa (based on different thicknesses).
