DC01 steel (1.0330 material) is a European standard cold-rolled high-quality low carbon steel product for cold forming. In the BS and DIN EN 10130 standards, other steel grades are included: DC03 (1.0347), DC04 (1.0338), DC05 (1.0312), DC06 (1.0873) and DC07 (1.0898).
DC01 is an ordinary cold plate, and DC03 is a cold plate for stamping. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the two are different.

Cold rolled uses hot-rolled steel coils as raw materials, which are pickled to remove scale and then cold rolled continuously. The finished product is hard rolled coils. Due to the cold work hardening caused by continuous cold deformation, the strength, hardness, and toughness of the hard rolled coils increase. The index drops, so the stamping performance will deteriorate and it can only be used for parts with simple deformation. Cold rolling is made from hot-rolled plates at room temperature. Although rolling will also heat up the steel plate during the processing, it is still called cold rolling.
Since hot rolling undergoes continuous cold deformation, cold rolling has poor mechanical properties and too high hardness.
It must be annealed to restore its mechanical properties. Those without annealing are called hard rolled coils. Hard rolled coils are generally used to make products that do not require bending or stretching.
Hard rolled coils can be used as raw materials in hot-dip galvanizing plants because hot-dip galvanizing units are equipped with annealing lines. The weight of hard rolled coils is generally 6 to 13.5 tons. The steel coils are continuously rolled on the hot-rolled pickled coils at room temperature. The inner diameter is 610mm.
Cold rolling is processed and rolled on the basis of hot rolled coils. Generally speaking, it is a process of hot rolling--pickling--cold rolling.
